Meet the Team
Giles specialises in providing entire new teams for studios. His success in building whole teams from scratch is put down to his excellent understanding of team dynamics, and ability to match not just people’s skill sets but also their personalities. A keen sports enthusiast, Giles has represented his county at rugby in every age group since he was 12.

Guy has over 5 years’ experience in the gaming and recruitment industry and has a genuine life-long love of games. In fact, Guy even dabbles in part-time games coding himself but confesses he is better at playing them, especially FIFA for which he made it all the way to the final of a tournament to represent the UK at the ‘FIFA Interactive World Cup’ in Shanghai. If you speak to Guy, ask him about his former life as a ‘Karaoke Singer’ on an exotic island.

Alex is a reliable and approachable Consultant with a great understanding of the Art and Animation market largely due to having a real passion for drawing himself! He is definitely the creative one of the digital team and you only have to ask to see his drawing of Jonny Bravo to see proof. Alex is a total foodie who is always keen to try new recipes although this does mean he has had a few disasters too!
Contact Alex about Artistic, Animation and Production related roles.
Jack is easy-going and approachable as a Recruitment Consultant and possesses some great market knowledge, so if you are working within any of the field he recruits within don’t hesitate to get in touch. He is a former Head Chef of a Spanish Tapas restaurant, owns a pug called Pumba and claims to have once fought a panda and won – although we suspect this may be propaganda.

Joe is our passionate and knowledgeable VFX Recruitment Consultant. We are lucky to have him considering that he once got stuck half way up a mountain in Borneo, as a result of intensive (and unexpected) tropical storms. A big Star Wars fan and lover of comic books, Joe is driven by helping VFX artists find inspiring roles.
Contact Joe if you are, or if you are looking for, Compositors, Riggers, 3D Generalists, Animators, Character Animators, VFX Coordinators and related professionals.
Katie specialises in the Games and Interactive markets supporting the recruitment of a diverse client list ranging from high profile AAA studios and digital agencies to cutting edge interactive studios. With fantastic charisma and energy, Katie’s ‘blonde moments’ keep us all amused. If you speak to Katie, ask her about the time she met the Queen.

Tom has worked in recruitment for a while now and spent some time recruiting for Life Science jobs before settling here and realising that Ruby on Rails recruitment was the best place for him! He’s got a very relaxed approach so if you have questions about any aspect of the process then he will be more than happy to help. He hasn’t always been a recruiter though and while working in Harrods he was lucky enough to meet and serve David Beckham!

Henry Henley is a recruiter that can help you whatever your speciality in the gaming industry. To make sure that we give companies all the help they need, Henry is in charge of filling the roles that complete a team alongside the specialities our other consultants work on. He has a wide network to allow him to bring together a person with a very specific set of skills and the company that needs them most!
If you get a chance make sure you ask him about his adventures in Germany. Some of those stories will go down in history!
Catrin is here for all our Consultants, Contractors and Clients for everything they need help with throughout the recruitment process. A priceless point of contacts for a number of client and candidate enquiries, she is an important part of the strong relationships we build and maintain as a business. Despite her talent in a vast number of activities however, Catrin’s main regret is her inability to whistle, although we have to admit it is quite amusing to watch her try.

He has grown Skillsearch from a team of three to a team of 19 over the 4 years he has been at its helm and looks forward to it expanding further.
