A globally recognised AAA gaming studio based in the UK has an opening for a Lead Character Artist with console experience to head up an established and talented team artists.

This excellent opportunity will be ideal for a motivated and talented Senior or Lead Artist with a proven track record and ambition to work on high end Console Titles.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least 5+ years Senior or Lead Character Artist
  • Hard-surface modeling skills
  • Sculpting, Drawing and traditional/fine art experience is desirable
  • Excellent understanding of the human anatomy and ideally have examples of this within your portfolio
  • A passion for games and a thorough understanding of the principles of game character design in particular
  • Ability to work within a team and where required mentor and constructively cirtique junior members
  • Candidates must be motivated, personable and have a proven track record of contributing effectively in a team environment
  • Unity / Unreal knowledge 
  • Understand PBR workflows
